Fingerprint detection at the touch of a button’
The
technique of vacuum deposition of zinc and gold metallic thin film coatings
onto principally flat, flexible substrates such as polythene packaging
film was developed by the UK Home Office, Police Scientific Development
Branch. The WTSL metal deposition machine is designed to be fully compatible
with the procedures documented in the Manual of Fingerprint Development
Techniques.
Fast, single treatment process, fingerprints may be photographed immediately after removing exhibit high quality images with resolution of fine detail including '3rd' level detail of pores and ridge shapes. Detection of fingerprints on articles which have been wetted due to rain, condensation or even prolonged immersion in water. Higher sensitivity and detection of about 10% more fingerprints than the superglue followed by dyeing process. Quick and easy to use - No messy dyeing

Description: Compact high vacuum bench top unit with Alcatel turbomolecular, turbomolecular drag or molecular drag high vacuum pump with pumping speeds from 7.5ls-1 to 2300ls-1. Either oil sealed rotary vane vacuum pump (pumping speeds from 2m3hr-1 to 100m3hr-1) or dry running diaphragm vacuum pump (pumping speeds from 0.5m3hr-1 to 8m3hr-1). Pirani and Penning vacuum gauges either analogue or digital. All mounted into a robust enclosed cabinet with forced air cooling. Stainless steel manifold / high vacuum valve available as an option.
Small Resin Degassing units
WTSL can build custom resin degassing units to your specification. Various sizes, top loading or front loading, lab systems and industrial systems, sight glasses, internal lighting are all options to provide a system designed for your needs.

gauge (an acrylic lid is satisfactory unless you are using solvents e.g.
acetone in which case a metal lid and a view port is required) All necessary
vacuum isolation and air admittance valves .Vacuum pump matched to volume
/ pump-down time.
