Twin Bulk Liquid Catchpot

The daily running of the laboratory involves filtering large quantities of water using vacuum. The waste water filtrate must be trapped to prevent it causing costly mechanical damage to the vacuum pump.

West Technology Systems Limited have developed a widely used and well proven range of twin bulk liquid catchpot systems. The catchpot's are PLC controlled with an automatic drain cycle to eliminate the hassle and handling problems associated with manual drained catchpot's. The catchpot operates at 24V DC to comply with low voltage regulations.

Twin catchpot chambers means that there no interruption in vacuum, and therefore filtration, because one chamber is available for use while the other chamber is draining. The drain is pumped assisted to ensure a fast drain cycle time. In addition the automatic control also ensures that the catchpot cannot be overfilled.
