Here at West Technology, we are monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation very closely both in the UK and USA. Our main priority is keeping our customers, suppliers and staff, along with their families, safe.
As the situation progresses, our plans may change. But here’s what we’re doing right now…
The UK is now facing work restrictions in order to elevate the serious effects of the COVID-19 virus and the UK Government has instructed all non-essential businesses to close for a period of three weeks.
For West Technology this means that we currently do not have anybody working at the factory and this has postponed the manufacture of all VMD products for at least three weeks. We are also facing disruption from our suppliers and partners and are not able to export at this time.
Our office staff will be working from home and during this time, we’ll be doing our very best to offer our usual level of service. Our phone lines will probably be more limited than usual so perhaps send an email if you can. We always endeavour to respond quickly to both email and phone enquiries.
We have taken the decision to temporarily suspend all customer site visits as well as on-site Forensic installations and training. This includes the UK, USA and Internationally. We are still able to offer remote technical support if required.
We have also currently suspended all our delivery drivers to ensure that we keep our customers and our employees safe.
