The most popular order he has had is for the Welch (Gardner Denver) Dry ChemStar Pump.These pumps are especially good for freeze driers, vacuum ovens and glove boxes. This is just to name 3 x applications. This oil free equipment is built with a roots blower and diaphragm pump working together to achieve an ultimate vacuum of 7 x 10-2mbar.
The software driven equipment has a patented software control and a self-cleaning function, which removes condensate vapour from the roots & diaphragm at shutdown. The result is improvement in reliability, low maintenance costs and longer use. The pump is also chemical resistant against corrosive vapour/gases with PTFE and proprietary coatings, making it minimise vacuum supply costs
Proud new owners of the ChemStar are mainly laboratory’s in various companies and organisations, probably because of its time-saving benefits and space saving design. The equipment does not need a cold trap, or connection components which also allows it to be flexible and accessible.
