Reliable, safe and versatile are the adjectives you want to describe a vacuum pump and the RV5 ticks all the boxes. One of the first things to note is the unique mode selector. This dial enables you to switch between high throughput and high vacuum mode. Therefore, switching between the two modes is easy and only requires one pump. The high throughout mode increases the oil flow to the high vacuum stage. As a result, there is less wear internally and and good level of lubrication.
Alongside the mode selector, the RV5 has a two position gas ballast which adds to its versatility. This allows two different levels of water vapour, 60 g/hr or 220g/hr, to be handled. An oil mist eliminator can also fitted to ensure increase pumping longevity and sustained lubrication.

The inlet valve is special feature on the RV5. The pump is fitted with an inlet seal and inlet mesh filter which makes for an effortless and controlled inlet valve opening. Thus eliminating pressure surges within the pump. In addition to this, the inlet valve speedily closes within 0.4 seconds after pump has stopped. The fast reacting inlet valve facilitates an anti-suck back technology.
As well as being a versatile and robust single phase pump, the RV5 has a quieter motor with a noise level of 48 dB(A) at 50 Hz. This results in a quieter working environment.
