As we strive to improve our services and to keep up with customer demands, West Technology are pleased to report 1 x New Vacuum Pump Engineer and 1 x New Wire Technician have recently been recruited to join our workshop.
Mitch – our new Wire Technician is from Avonmouth, 24yrs old and has been in the industry for 3yrs, this is not including his studies at the City of Bristol where he completed an AEC course. Mitch will be joining the production team building Vacuum Systems such as high vacuum furnaces, high vacuum coating applications and VMD’s for forensics. We look forward to sending lots of work Mitch’s way to keep him busy as well as complimenting his beard, which has put John, James and Roger to shame. Welcome Mitch and good luck!
Daniel – our new Vacuum Pump Engineer has joined us from a company in Bradley Stoke. He was recommended by his cousin and our Electronic Engineer – Luis. He has been a keen mechanic from the young age of 13yrs old, making him well suited to this role of Vacuum Pump Engineer. Daniel discovered his love for cars and everything mechanical in Portugal at his parents small farm, he then moved to the UK at the age of 15yrs old and studied at Chipping Sodbury High School and later at Parkway Technical Centre. Customer’s Vacuum pumps will be serviced and repaired by Daniel, his attention to detail and skills will continue to move us forward to quicker turnaround times and quality of pumps being sent back.
