Thumbs up for our winning Service Engineer

We were all ready to welcome Bradley, our Service Engineer back into the workshop. This was after hearing of Bradley’s win at Minety RFC 7’s tournament at the weekend. We tried to celebrate Bradley’s Rugby Triumph with giving him more pumps to be serviced. Inspection Reports were going to be signed off by: Bradley ‘The 7’s Rugby Champion’ Gardener, keeping customers happy. This was quickly deferred, with Bradley having to go to A&E after an accident to his thumb……..

Bradley Gardener, West Technologies Service Pump Engineer proudly played for Minchinhampton Rugby 7’s team on Saturday 20th May. Rain fell for most of the day, but it did not stop Bradley’s team from triumphing and taking the Trophy from a Professional Rugby 7’s team, which have been travelling round Europe.

The final was fought out between Horus and Minchinhampton, despite the rain lashing down both teams threw everything into an excellent final. It was tied at the end of full time, so went into extra time. With not much time left, Minchinhampton ruined Horus ‘non beaten’  status and scored the Golden Try, winning the Trophy.

Bradley had to return to A&E as previously mentioned. This was not caused by another heroic try, or working on a tricky Vacuum Pump but from……

Running up the stairs with his Roast Dinner in hand. Skills. We look forward to welcoming Bradley back in a couple of weeks and wish him a speedy recovery. In the meantime…..
