CASE STUDY:

Contracted to design and manufacture an Ion Vapour Deposition (IVD) Aluminium Coating System, for the purposes of coating components for use in the aerospace industry.

The system comprises of a vacuum chamber with an internal rotating drum for the containment of the components, an aluminium wire feed system and low voltage evaporation boats.

There is also an HT electrode so that a plasma can be created in the chamber for cleaning of the components.
