Last year’s ‘Blue Planet’ with everyone’s favourite narrator David Attenborough made quite an impact on the UK. The weekly fascinating document lured us in and finished with the devastating impact we are making in the oceans and the un-necessary use and consumption of plastic. Similar to many other companies, we at West Technology have decided to make a conscious effort to recycle and use less plastic in the office. While some consumption cannot be helped in the industry and workshop, we can do ‘our bit’ in the office. All plastic cups for the water dispenser will no longer be used, and everyone has agreed to recycle when they can.
One small step at a time. Next on the list is to convince some to ditch their car and make the journey on bike or foot. One step at a time though!
