ientific and operational lectures, as well as hands-on workshops. This years IAI conference, the 102nd, was held in Atlanta Georgia and we all had a great time catching up with old friends and also m
aking lots of new ones!
We’re pleased to say that we had a very busy week on our stand carrying out many demonstrations of the VMD360 as well as discussing all the latest exciting VMD research and developments. Forensic Scientist, Eleigh Brewer, also presented some of her research entitled ‘The use of Vacuum Metal Deposition to develop latent fingermarks from fired ammunition, using alternative metals’, which received some great feedback and highlighted the wide capabilities of the VMD process.
From all of us at West Technology Forensics, we would like to say a big thank you to everyone who visited our stand during the conference and for making the long trip out from the UK a successful one and very worthwhile. We had great fun and look forward to hopefully seeing you all again for the 103rd Conference in San Antonio next year!!
